Raoni Washburn entered the Podcasting and public speaking industry in 2020. He began with a show entitled “My Gay Expose Podcast, a series themed on gay life in the beautiful Castro District of San Francisco, telling story after story of Raoni’s journey through gay hookup culture. The show ran for about 4 years until it was rebranded at the beginning of 2025 into “The Raoni Washburn Show” and labeled as “The next era of My Gay Expose Podcast.” This version ran from 2025 until the show’s final episode dropped on December 11, 2025, marking more than a five-year run and earning the series the prestigious 14th spot on the top 100 best LGBTQ+ podcasts of all time. Raoni since has spinned off into other podcast projects including the show that is currently running on the beggining of its third year in 2026 entitled “Blood Is Thicker Than Alcohol,” a podcast where Raoni and his cohost (his streight brother Ryan), belly up to the “Blood Is Thicker Than Alcohol” bar every week and drink their way through topics of conversation in the news, pop culture comintary, and real stories based on their actual lives all from the gay versus the straight perspective. You can listen to “Blood Is Thicker Than Alcohol” on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts, and check out their Patreon for extra-special bonus content.
Blood Is Thicker Than Alcohol
We've all heard the saying that blood is thicker than water, but brothers Ryan and Raoni Washburn prefer to brother-bond over alcohol. Bossy Power Bottom Productions presents "Blood Is Thicker Than Alcohol," a podcast that offers unapologetic perspectives from both sides of the gay and straight spectrum. Each week, Raoni & Ryan unapologetically compare and contrast current topics of conversation in the news, pop culture, and real-life stories based on their actual lives, all while washing each topic down with some alcohol. Their bold approach will keep you coming back to the bar for more!
My Gay Expose Podcast/ The Raoni Washburn Show
My Gay Expose Podcast was created during the heart of the 2020 pandemic lockdown. Created to share Raoni’s single slutty stories of gay hook-up culture in the beautiful city of San Francisco, Raoni’s original aim was to simply produce relatable gay content through a simple storytelling podcasting style. But what Raoni didn't know was that this show would, in just two short years, become a gay phenomenon known within the gay cultural landscape as that show that is more like “when life has you fucked in the head while being fucked from behind.” As Raoni began to implement this messy metaphor into his often alcohol-induced sexual stories of conquering that infamous “Hot Jock Top that you’ve been eying on your Grindr grid for weeks,” the show began to grow, earning Raoni The award for number 14 of the top 100 best LGBTQ+ podcasts of all time and placing the show at the top of countless podcast charts. Raoni eventually rebranded “My Gay Expose Podcast” as “The Raoni Washburn Show” in 2025, marking the next era of My Gay Expose Podcast, and recorded the final episode on December 11th, 2025, ending the iconic show’s five-year reign. Forty-five episodes of “The Raoni Washburn Show” are currently available on the show’s IP for consumption on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
